A company’s history,
translated into form.
Each Tickerz begins with a structured record: a company, its founding and listing dates, its sector and selected events from its history.
The artist translates that record into position, colour, density and movement. Together, they form a portrait shaped by time.

The visual language
What the record
changes.
All 666 works share one visual language. Each company’s record gives that language a different voice.
01Dates → position
The founding year and the end of the recorded history define a timeline. Events are positioned along it in proportion to when they occurred. That timeline runs through the composition as its spine.
02Listing → a threshold
The first public listing marks a change along the spine. Before that point, the marks are quieter and smaller; beyond it, they carry more light. The years before the market are still part of the work.
03Events → interruptions
Selected moments can bend, interrupt or divide the trace. Some become visible breaks; others remain held within the movement.
04Market lives → echoes
An uninterrupted market life and a return after an interruption leave different traces. Multiple lives can add an echo alongside the principal line. A terminal trajectory has its own ending.
05Sector → colour
Sector suggests the starting palette. From there, each company develops its own balance of colour and light, independent of its logo or visual identity.
06Tenure → density
A longer public life can leave a denser field of marks. Events shape that density, while the company’s rhythm gives the composition its pace.
A living form
Always itself.

Each Tickerz has its own visual identity. Its colours, rhythm and structure belong to one company and one history. Movement reveals the work without turning it into another edition.
The animation follows the rhythm written into the work, giving lasting movement to the company’s history: one work, one identity, continuously unfolding.
A company leaves more than a valuation. The work gives that memory a form.
